Zefii is a highly interactive visual novel. The game begins when the player wake up on his desk and feels something odd about his room. He soon discovers a secret passage, which leads to a hidden underground palace. During his time in the palace, the player meets a variety of characters, one of them is Zefii, the player's target in the game. He gradually uncovers memories from his past life and eventually travels to the Demon Realm to find Zefii. Together, the two of them enter a brand new world: will it be heaven or the beginning of a nightmare?

However on his/her first day they are somehow transported to a school in the UK, where they were 'expected' as the new exchange student. How they choose to act and how well they use the English language will affect their outcome, and possibly their survival. This is a game aimed at Japanese students learning English, and so there is a lot of Japanese used. This particularly occurs at the start of the game where the character is still in Japan. Note that the wordcount comprises of English words only, Japanese characters were not included.

Based off of "Tsuru no Ongaeshi," the Japanese folk story more commonly known as "The Crane Wife," this visual novel was made in less than 48 hours for Ludum Dare 24, August 2012, with Ren'py. In "Inu no Ongaeshi," you play a lonely freelance writer, if, with your lack of motivation, you can even call yourself that. One morning, you meet an injured dog in the forest- rather, a dog girl. A magical, evolving, speed-writing, food-conjuring, future seeing dog girl. Good luck with that. There are 2 bad endings, and 2… other endings. Redwood is one of the most prestigious schools in the nation-- once, it served as a private school for the rich and famous, hidden deep away in the forest, away from public eye-- but was soon opened to all enrolling students (if they could pay the tuition fees.) The new school year is beginning, and Redwood's Headmaster states that he's got an announcement to make. During this announcement, one of the empty classrooms is set on fire-- with five students trapped inside. The story follows a few characters' attempts to solve the mystery of the classroom fire, as well as the other mysteries that spring up along the way. This is the first chapter of four planned before the story is complete. Rise and Fall contains graphic images and scenes (murder scenes, body discoveries, etc.) as well as strong language/profanity. Recommended 16+, but play at your own consent.
